CARBONS

Types of Carbons:

  • Carbo animals.
  • Carbo vegetabilis.
  • Graphites.
  • Carboneum Sulph.
  • Coal gas.
  • Bisulphide of Carbon.
  • Aniline Sulphate.

CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Tendency to relieve offensive, putrid discharge and exhalations from the body.
  • Marked action on skin produces intertrigo, excoriations, cracks and fissures.
  • Glandular enlargement and induration, esp. of lymphatic glands simulating cancerous infiltration.
  • Tendency to produce Asphyxia craving fresh air and oxygen.
  • Action on the veins, producing varicosities.
  • Causes catarrhal condition of mucous membranes, esp. of nose, throat, lungs and bowels.
  • Tendency to produce flatulence; offensive flatulence.
