Applications are invited in the prescribed format for filling up of one post of Director General in the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), New Delhi, an autonomous research organization under the the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi in the Pay Band-4 of Rs.37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- + NPA and other usual allowances, admissible as per Central Government Rules through selection method. The CCRH is the apex body in India for formulation, co-ordination, development and promotion of research in Homoeopathy. The Council carries out its activities and functions under its direct control through the net work of 29 Institutes/Units, situated in different parts of Country. We are looking for a dynamic bright researcher who has achieved excellence and is dedicated to the cause of research in Homoeopathy. 

The following are the requisite academic qualification and experience:-

Essential:-

Educational Qualifications :-

• PG Degree in Homoeopathy included in the 2nd Schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
• Enrolment in the Central/State Register of Homoeopathy.
• 20 years in profession out of which three years in Professor grade or equivalent grade as HOD of specialty in Homoeopathic Medicine of a University or Medical College or Research/Teaching Institutes or Hospital in the pay Band of Rs.37400-67000 with grade pay of Rs. 8700/- or eight years combined experience in PG teaching (Associate Professor/Reader/Professor) and Research & Administration in Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Body/Statutory organization/recognized Research Councils/Universities.  Quality research work published in peer reviewed research journal.

Desirable:-

• Extensive practical and Administrative experience in the field of Homoeopathy.
• Ph.D qualification in any branch of Homoeopathy.
• Publication of original articles on Homoeopathy.

Method of recruitment :- By Deputation/Contract for a fixed tenure of 5 years or till date of retirement, whichever is earlier.

Maximum Age Limit :- 55 years (Upper age limit not applicable to persons in the service of the C.C.R.H)

General Conditions to apply: -

2. Candidates applying for the post should ensure that they have acquired the required qualification and are registered under Travancore-Cochin Medical  Council on or before the date of this notification. 3. 4. Selected candidates will be placed as per the merit in the district wise rank list.
5. Recruitment will be initially for a period of three months, which may be extended based on performance of the candidate. The individuals appointed on contract basis, will have to enter into a contract with Kerala State H & FW Society.  For the posts of MO (Homoeo) & MO (Ayurveda), no vacancies exist at present.
However, it is proposed to prepare a rank list for these posts.  Posting will be made from the rank list for arising vacancies in future.
6. The undersigned will have the power to relax age, qualifications for the post. The selected candidate should be willing to relocate anywhere in the State.
