PG Homeopathy Entrance Examination Kerala: Download Admit Card from CEE Website


NOTIFICATION
The Admit card for candidates appearing for the Entrance Examination
for MD Homoeo Course 2011-12, Kerala to be held at Govt. HSS Kamaleswaram,
Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram on 27.03.2011 can be downloaded from the
official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations
“www.ceekerala.org” from 10.00 am on 23.03.2011(Wednesday) onwards. The list
of candidates with status of the admit cards is published in the website. The
candidates are advised to enter their Application Number and the Date of Birth as
already given in the application form on the web page for downloading the admit
card. The printout of the admit card thus obtained can be used in the examination
hall for the identification of candidates. Admit cards will not be sent by post from
the office to the candidate.

Application invited for Kerala Homeopathic MD Entrance Examination
Examination Date: 27/03/2011

N O T I F I C A T I O N
1. Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to M D
Homoeopathy Courses for the year 2011-2012 in the Government Homoeopathic
Medical Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.
2. Eligibility for Admission:
(i) Nationality : Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
(ii)Academic Qualifications: BHMS Degree (Direct/Graded) or its equivalent, declared
thereto, by the Central Council of Homoeopathy. Candidates who have completed the
prescribed internship before the date of interview for allotment alone are eligible for
admission subject to the condition that they should produce the Medical Council
Registration Certificate at the time of interview for allotment. Candidates who have
passed the final year examination with more than three chances are not eligible for
admission.
(iii) Age: The candidates otherwise eligible for admission should not be more than 45
years as on 01.01.2011 subject to relaxation of a maximum of five years in the case of
SC/ST Candidates and Teachers of Homoeopathic Medical Colleges/Research Officers
of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy.
3. Selection and Entrance Examination: Selection of Candidates except for the seats
reserved under Rural Service Quota and for Teachers working in the Private as well as
Government Homoeopathic Medical Colleges in Kerala will be made on the basis of
the rank in an Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for
Entrance Examinations (CEE) at Thiruvananthapuram on 27/03/2011. The Entrance
Examination will consist of two papers, each of two hours duration and each Paper
having 150 Objective (Multiple Choice) type questions. Paper-I will consist of Preclinical
and Para-clinical subjects and Paper-II will consist of Clinical subjects.
4. Application forms: Separate Application forms will be available for common and
SC/ST candidates. The Prospectus and Application form can be downloaded from the
Website at www.cee-kerala.org from 01/03/2011 onwards. Application forms will
not be sold from the office of the CEE or from the Government Homoeopathic
Medical Colleges.
5. How to apply: Those candidates, whose selection is based on the Entrance
Examination should forward their filled up applications along with supporting
documents mentioned in Clause 10 of the Prospectus and a Demand Draft of Rs. 800/-
(Rupees Eight Hundred Only) for General candidates / Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred
only) for SC/ST candidates, drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the
Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram to the
Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar,
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala – 695 001, either by Registered post or Hand delivery
so as to reach him on or before the last date of receipt of application.
Candidates applying for the seats reserved under Rural Service Quota and for
Teachers Quota in Government and Private Homoeopathic Medical Colleges should
send their applications routed through their Heads of Departments/Institutions with
necessary NOC furnished in the application form and the application fee of Rs. 800/-
by way of Demand Draft (drawn from any Nationalized Bank, in favour of the Principal
and Controlling Officer, Government Homoeopathic Medical College,
Thiruvananthapuram, payable at Thiruvananthapuram) to the Director of
Homoeopathy, East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram -695 023 [ in case of Rural Service
Quota ] or to the Principal and Controlling Officer, Government Homoeopathic
Medical College, Iranimuttom, Thiruvananthapuram, Pin-695009, Kerala [in case of
Teacher’s Quota] on or before the last date of receipt of application. Fee once
remitted will not be refunded on any account.
6. Last date and time for receipt of filled-in application forms: All Candidates
including those applying against seats reserved for Teachers/Rural Service Quota
should forward their completed application to the respective authorities so as to
reach them before 5 pm on 18/03/2011. Late applications including those brought
after 5 PM on 18/03/2011 will not be accepted. The CEE or other officers will not be
responsible for any postal delay.
7. Issue of Admit Cards: The Admit Cards for the candidates appearing for Entrance
Examination will be available online from 23/03/2011 onwards. The candidates may
take the printout of the Admit Card which can be used for identification of the
candidate in the examination hall.
8. Belated, incomplete, defective and wrongly addressed applications will be
summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard.
Candidates will be allowed neither to include any information in the application form
nor to submit any certificates/documents claiming reservation or any other benefits,
after the submission of the application, under any circumstances. Candidates must
note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the respective format given
in the Application form. The certificates, which are not in the format specified in the
application form, will not be considered under any circumstances.
9. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will conduct the Entrance
Examination, publish a Rank list of candidates based on merit as assessed in the
Entrance Examination and forward the same to Chairman and Convenor of the
Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will make the allotments and forward
the Select list to the Colleges concerned for making admission.
10. Candidates may go through the details given in the Prospectus for admission to
the Post Graduate Homoeopathy Courses: 2011-12, approved by the Government of
Kerala before filling the application form.

  • Allotment of the reserved seats for SC, ST, Physically Challenged and OBC (for NIH only) candidates will be in accordance with the existing Govt. orders.
* Candidates who will secure a minimum of 160 marks in the written test for the seats reserved for SC / ST candidates and a minimum of 200 marks for the seats of all other categories will be empanelled for selection.
* Two (2) seats in National Institute of Homoeopathy are reserved for BIMSTEC countries.

The Print-copy of the application along with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- in favour of 'The West Bengal University of Health Sciences' payable at Kolkata, photographs embossed with current date after 15 February ,2011and photocopy of photo identity card (voter identity/ PAN card) is to be submitted either by hand (on and before 3 March. 2011) or by Speed/ Registered post ( on or before 8 March, 2011 provided bank draft is made in favour of the University on or before 3 March, 2011) to the following address:

Date of Test : March 27, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 1:20 PM
Test Duration : 80 Minutes
Test Proforma :
  • The question paper for the written test shall be set in English and shall contain 100 single best response type Multiple Choice Questions.
     
  • The following is the list showing the tentative number of questions from different subjects which will be set in the written test:


    1. Anatomy, Physiology, Paediatrics, F.M.T , Community Medicine, Surgery, Obst. & Gynae. , Pathology - 50 nos.
       
    2. Practice of Medicine, Case taking & Repertory, Materia Medica, Homoepathic Pharmacy and Organon of Medicine & Philosophy - 50 nos.
       
  • A candidate will be awarded four (4) marks for each correct answerOne (1) mark will be deductedfor every incorrect answerOne (1) mark will also be deducted if more than one response is given to the same question. No deduction will be made for questions not attempted.
Other Provisions for Merit :
In the event of more than one candidate securing the same marks in the written test, the rank shall be determined according to the following principles:
  • The relative position of such candidates in the merit list will be determined on the basis of the number of correct answers, i.e., the candidate scoring more positive marks will be placed in higher position in the merit list.
     
  • If the ranks of the candidates cannot be determined by application of the above principle, the candidate older by age will be in the higher rank than the candidate younger by age.
     
  • There shall be separate lists also indicating the merit wise position for the SC / ST / OBC / Physically Challenged candidates. Admission in the OB category is restricted to National Institute of Homoeopathy.
Eligibility :
(a) Candidates who have passed B.H.M.S. degree, Graded B.H.M.S. degree from any recognized University from anywhere in India (affiliated by Central Council of Homoeopathy and included in 2nd schedule) are eligible to apply.
(b) The candidates who have completed or will complete their rotating internship for one year after passing the B.H.M.S examination (6 months in case of Graded B.H.M.S. Examination) on or before 15.04.2011 are eligible to apply.
(c) Candidates must have got themselves registered (Provisional or Permanent) with any State Council of Homoeopathy or Central Council of Homoeopathy.
(d) Candidates who are already pursuing any other course are not eligible for admission till they complete the course or are likely to complete the course within 30.04.2011.
